Client Care Team Manager | Leading Veterinary Group
£35K+ (DOE) + Benefits | Multi-Site | East Riding of Yorkshire

We’re working with a respected veterinary group that’s entering an exciting new chapter. With major investments underway, they’re looking for a Client Care Team Manager to rebuild, lead, and inspire their front-of-house team and help shape the future of the practice.

This is more than a management role. It’s a career-defining opportunity to join senior leadership, transform culture, and leave a lasting impact on how client care is delivered.

The Role You’ll take ownership of the client care/reception team during a period of change. Balancing strategy with hands-on leadership, you’ll be trusted to bring structure, rebuild morale, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Day to day you’ll be:

  • Leading and developing a 12-strong client care team (with plans to grow to 16 FTE).
  • Tackling staffing, sickness management, and morale challenges head-on.
  • Designing structured training, skills matrices, and career pathways.
  • Acting as the bridge between client care and clinical teams.
  • Overseeing client service standards, complaint handling, and reception operations.
  • Supporting wider practice transformation projects with senior leaders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven people management experience – ideally in veterinary, healthcare, or another high-pressure customer service setting.
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution, change management, and team building.
  • A resilient, empathetic leadership style that inspires others.
  • Confidence to balance strategy with hands-on involvement.
  • Flexibility to rotate across two sites (Driffield and Bridlington).
What’s On Offer
  • Salary: £35K+ depending on experience.
  • 4 weeks holiday + Bank holidays
  • Pension, employee assistance programme, cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Full support from senior leaders, external mentoring, and structured onboarding.
Why This Role Stands Out This is your chance to:
  • Take a seat at the senior management table with influence across the practice.
  • Lead a team that cares deeply about animals and clients but needs strong leadership.
  • Champion values of compassion, teamwork, and growth while shaping culture.
  • Build a lasting legacy in a respected, expanding veterinary group.
