Junior Sales Executive – Pet Industry
The Animal People Recruitment Company is proud to be exclusively partnering with a growing pet care brand to recruit a passionate, driven Junior Sales Executive.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in pet retail or customer-facing roles who is ready to take their first step into a commercial office-based role. You’ll receive full support and training to develop your commercial skill set and build a long-term career in sales, account management, and customer development.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Sales Manager with day-to-day account administration, order tracking, and customer communication
- Preparing reports, updating sales trackers, and assisting with data input and analysis
- Coordinating with internal teams on product launches, promotions, and stock management
- Helping respond to inbound customer and retailer enquiries
- Learning how to manage trade accounts, build commercial relationships, and support business growth
- Gaining exposure to the full account management cycle, from onboarding new partners to maintaining existing retailer relationships
- Contributing to team meetings, retailer presentations, and project updates
- Over time, gaining experience in national account management, with a clear progression plan in place
- Experience in pet retail, customer service, or administrative roles
- A genuine passion for pets and interest in the pet products industry
- Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
- A team player who is eager to learn and grow
- Confident using email, Excel, and systems (training provided)
- Full-time availability for an office-based role in Stevenage (Monday–Friday)
- £21K+ starting salary with annual bonus potential
