National Account Manager – Wholesale | Pet Industry
Hybrid – 2–3 days per week at Derbyshire HQ | Rest from home
£55,000–£60,000 + £7,200 car allowance + 15% bonus + Private Medical Insurance

Are you a strategic, commercial, and pet-passionate sales leader ready for your next step? Do you have experience managing national wholesale accounts and driving growth in FMCG or pet care?

We’re exclusively recruiting for a National Account Manager – Wholesale to join a premium, globally recognised pet brand. You’ll be responsible for managing 7 key UK wholesalers and 2 in Ireland, shaping growth in the channel.

This is your chance to join a business investing heavily in the UK, with a brand-new HQ in Derbyshire and a long-term commitment to innovation, wellness, and pet health.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing and growing 7 UK wholesalers and 2 Irish wholesalers.
  • Leading JBPs, promotional calendars, and customer activations.
  • Owning P&L, analysing ROI, margin, and performance data.
  • Working cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Brand, and Supply Chain.
  • Representing the brand at trade shows, industry events, and buyer meetings.
  • Delivering accurate forecasting and sales tracking to support growth.
We’d love to hear from candidates with:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a National Account Manager role.
  • FMCG, consumer goods, or pet industry background.
  • Strong track record of managing wholesale buyers and national contracts.
  • Commercial acumen with a data-driven mindset.
  • Relationship-building skills, energy, and a passion for pets.
  • Flexibility to be in Derbyshire HQ 2–3 days per week, plus travel to customers across the UK & Ireland.
