The Animal People Recruitment Company is proud to be working with one of the UK’s most respected pet insurance providers. Due to continued growth, they’re now seeking a Claims Assessor to join their brilliant team at their Hertfordshire HQ.

This is a full-time, office-based role offering a £25K+ salary, ideal for someone who wants to stay close to the veterinary world while stepping into a new, people-first environment.

The Role
As a Claims Assessor, you’ll be responsible for accurately assessing and processing pet insurance claims. You’ll use your clinical knowledge and empathy to support pet owners through what can often be a difficult time, delivering exceptional service at every stage. Working closely with veterinary practices and internal teams, you’ll ensure claims are settled fairly, efficiently, and with care.


What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident reading clinical notes, has strong attention to detail, and genuinely enjoys supporting people. You’ll be organised, communicative, and tech-savvy – confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Experience in insurance or claims is a bonus, but not essential if you bring the right mindset and veterinary background.
