Key Responsibilities As Technical & Quality Assurance Manager, you will:
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), driving compliance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, audits, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, producing clear reporting and root cause analysis.
- Partner with NPD on lab testing, product launches, and regulatory assessments.
- Deliver monthly QMS and quality reports to senior stakeholders.
- Act as the technical lead on regulatory updates, import/export compliance, and international supply chains.
- Lead the product recall process, if required.
- Travel monthly to Nottingham and occasionally elsewhere for on-site quality checks.
- 4+ years’ experience in food quality assurance (pet food preferred).
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualification (ISO14001 desirable).
- Strong background in supplier management, quality audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
- £45,000+ DOE
