Territory Manager – Take the Lead with a Trusted Pet Care Brand
The Animal People are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a much-loved, purpose-driven pet food business, known for their people-first culture, premium product portfolio, and genuine love for pets.
They’re looking for a confident, relationship-led Territory Manager
to cover key areas across East Anglia, supporting independent retailers and growing sales across a thriving region.
If you’re experienced in field sales and looking to join a values-led brand with excellent leadership, this could be the next big step in your career.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Territory Manager, you’ll be the face of the brand in your area, developing retailer relationships, increasing product visibility, and driving commercial success. Expect variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact. Day-to-day includes:
- Managing a portfolio of independent retailers across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex.
- Delivering quarterly and annual sales targets in line with company goals.
- Building long-term, trust-based customer relationships through regular visits and great service.
- Supporting promotional activity and marketing initiatives in-store.
- Keeping your journey plan updated and ensuring CRM data is accurate and useful.
- Attending trade shows, training days, and quarterly sales meetings (with occasional overnight stays).
- Previous experience in a field-based sales or Territory Manager role.
- Confidence using CRM and Microsoft Office tools to stay organised and report on progress.
- A full UK driving licence and readiness to travel across your region.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- A team-focused, can-do attitude — you care about doing the job well and being part of something bigger.
- Experience in the pet industry is a bonus, but not essential.
You’ll be joining a high-performing sales team with a brilliant line manager and loads of internal support. Expect:
- A competitive salary (up to £34K) plus an achievable bonus structure.
- Company car, phone, laptop, and everything you need to succeed.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- A standout benefits package including personal development support and wellness perks.
- A genuinely warm, family-feel culture where people are valued and heard.
