Partnerships Manager - Pet Industry London / Hybrid Role with Home Working
Up to £60,000 + benefits

This one builds revenue from the ground up.

The Animal People Recruitment Company are partnering with an ambitious and well-funded digital business in the pet sector that is building a connected ecosystem of services designed to support pet owners throughout their entire journey from everyday care through to technology and services that make responsible pet ownership easier.

Their platforms already reach a large and growing audience across the UK and, with significant investment behind them, they are now entering an exciting new phase of growth.

As part of that journey, they are looking to appoint a Partnerships Manager who can build strong commercial relationships, create valuable brand collaborations and drive revenue across the ecosystem’s channels.

The Opportunity:

This isn’t a traditional account management role.
This is about building partnerships that perform.

You will take ownership of identifying, developing and securing commercial partnerships that generate advertising revenue, affiliate opportunities and cross-promotional value across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors, negotiating deals and building long-term value.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership in a fast-moving, startup-style environment where people are trusted to get on with it, ideas move quickly and results matter more than presenteeism.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Identifying and securing partnerships with pet brands and other relevant commercial partners
  • Building and managing a pipeline across key categories including food, supplements, retailers and services
  • Creating commercial partnership models including advertising, affiliate, co-marketing and cross-promotion opportunities
  • Negotiating and managing partnership agreements to ensure mutual value
  • Activating partnerships across digital channels including website, email, CRM and customer journeys
  • Working closely with Growth and Brand teams to integrate partnerships into the wider customer experience
  • Tracking partnership performance across revenue, engagement and conversion
  • Helping shape how partnerships contribute to wider business growth
The Kind of Person We’re Looking For:

This role would suit someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building commercial opportunities rather than simply managing what already exists.

You’ll likely bring:
  • 4+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development or media / affiliate sales
  • Strong commercial instincts and confidence negotiating deals
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your remit
  • Experience building relationships and spotting revenue opportunities
  • A good understanding of digital channels including email, web, CRM and affiliate activity
  • A proactive mindset, someone who is resourceful, self-sufficient and motivated by results
Experience within the pet industry would be highly beneficial, particularly if you already understand the market and the types of brands that would be a natural fit.

What matters most is someone who is commercially sharp, credible, proactive and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful in the pet space.
