The Animal People are partnering with a fast-growing, digital-first pet business building a connected ecosystem of services for pet owners.
They already have platform, audience and reach.
Now they need someone who can turn that into serious commercial revenue.
The Role (Read This Properly)
This is a commercial partnerships / business development role.
You will:
- build a pipeline from scratch
- open doors with pet brands
- negotiate and close deals
- generate revenue through partnerships
- an account management role
- a brand or influencer partnerships role
- a “nice collaboration” role
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and owning a partnerships pipeline within the pet industry
- Prospecting, pitching and closing commercial deals
- Generating revenue through advertising, affiliate and digital partnerships
- Structuring deals that deliver measurable commercial return
- Activating partnerships across CRM, email, website and customer journeys
- Working closely with marketing and growth teams to execute campaigns
- Tracking performance across revenue, engagement and conversion
- Continuously identifying new ways to monetise the platform
- Direct experience working within the pet industry
- Proven track record of generating revenue through partnerships, commercial BD, media or affiliate sales
- Experience personally closing deals (not just supporting or managing)
- Experience building a pipeline and creating opportunities from scratch
- Strong understanding of digital channels (CRM, email, web, affiliate)
The Person We are looking for someone who is:
