Are you a highly organised Product and Marketing Executive looking for a varied role where you can support both product development and marketing activity within a fast-paced consumer brand environment?
We are recruiting for a 12-month fixed term maternity cover opportunity for a Product and Marketing Executive to join a growing and ambitious business in the pet industry. This is an exciting role for somebody who enjoys working across product marketing, packaging, artwork, product data, launch support, trade marketing and project coordination.
This position would suit someone with experience in a product marketing role, marketing executive role, product executive role, NPD support role, or a similar position where you have supported the launch and ongoing management of products in a structured, detail-focused environment.
This is a broad and hands-on role supporting both the Product team and the Chief Marketing Officer, helping bring new projects to life, support existing product ranges, manage packaging and artwork processes, and assist with marketing and commercial support activity.

Key responsibilities
As the Product and Marketing Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) projects from concept through to launch
- Coordinating project actions, timelines and critical paths across cross-functional teams
- Attending weekly product development meetings and progressing agreed actions
- Supporting the product launch process and post-launch review activity
- Managing elements of the packaging development and artwork approval process
- Liaising with design agencies, packaging suppliers, print partners and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with proof checking, version control and artwork file management
- Maintaining accurate product data, ERP records and customer product listings
- Supporting the commercial team with product information, launch packs and trade materials
- Assisting with product marketing activity, launch collateral, packaging copy and promotional materials
- Supporting exhibitions, events, trade shows and marketing initiatives
- Working closely with ecommerce, sales, product and marketing teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly

- Experience in a product marketing, product support, NPD, packaging, or marketing coordination role
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and moving parts
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with product data, spreadsheets, systems and administrative processes
- Experience supporting packaging, artwork, proofing, product launches or product lifecycle activity
- The ability to work collaboratively across departments including marketing, sales, ecommerce, product and operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Canva
Experience in the pet industry would be helpful, but it is not essential.

- Flexibility required for exhibitions and occasional weekend event work, with time off in lieu
- £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
