About the Opportunity
Our client, a well known and established brand in Animal Nutrition, is looking for a commercially minded and resilient Retail Project Manager to help drive operational improvement projects across its retail network in Scotland.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects that improve systems, processes, reporting, and ways of working across the retail operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver retail and operational improvement projects across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting, processes, and efficiencies
- Work closely with stakeholders across retail operations to drive project engagement and delivery
- Manage project plans, priorities, risks, budgets, and reporting
- Support the ongoing development and embedding of project governance and reporting structures
- Drive accountability and momentum across projects, ensuring progress is maintained despite competing priorities
- Mentor and support a junior project coordinator within the team
- Build strong working relationships across a long-established and collaborative business culture
- Contribute to the wider strategic and continuous improvement agenda across retail operations

Essential
- Previous project management experience within retail, commercial, operational, or process-driven environments
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and delivering business improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with ERP or business systems (e.g. D365, SAP, or similar)
- Comfortable working with reporting, KPIs, and operational data
- Willingness to travel across Scotland as required
- Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, APM etc.)
- Experience improving operational systems or business processes
- Experience mentoring or developing junior team members
- Retail operations experience
- Experience within agricultural, animal health, FMCG, or similarly relationship-led sectors
