Ruminant Specialist – field based, Dumfries & Ayrshire

We are working with a leading provider in the livestock sector. This role focuses on delivering on-farm solutions to improve efficiency and profitability, while providing exceptional customer support across your designated area.


What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Deliver on an agreed annual sales target, supporting customers with advice and solutions.
  • Monitor on-farm performance, providing recommendations based on data and practical trials.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and opportunities on farms, offering effective solutions.
  • Coordinate farm events, open days, and educational meetings to share knowledge and best practice.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, nutrition, and animal health trends.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and customer service.

Desirable: Previous experience in livestock sales or advisory roles is a plus but not essential.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Basic annual salary - £30K-40K
  • Potential bonus up to £15k after probation.
  • Field based role covering Dumfries & Ayrshire
  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
