Our New “Refer a Friend” Scheme Is Here – Help Someone Find Their Dream Role (and Get Rewarded!)

We’re thrilled to officially launch our brand-new Refer a Friend Scheme – a chance for you to help someone in your network take the next step in their career and get rewarded at the same time.

As many of you know, the pet and animal health industry is filled with incredible, talented people. Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to build a community of Animal People who are passionate, supportive, and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

This new scheme is just one more way we’re working to make our industry better through recruitment done differently – values-led, people-first, and rooted in kindness, honesty, and inclusivity.

How It Works

If you know someone who would be perfect for one of our live roles, simply refer them via the Refer a Friend page on our website.

If they are successfully placed, you’ll receive a £250 Amazon voucher 8 weeks after they start. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting great people into great opportunities.

To qualify for the reward, the referral must be linked to a current, live vacancy listed on our website. You’ll need to select the relevant role when completing the form – so please make sure to check what’s live before submitting.

At the end of last year, I was incredibly honoured to be given the title of Ambassador for Birmingham Dogs Home . It’s a role I’m immensely proud of - not because of the title itself, but because of what it represents after almost a decade of consistent support, advocacy and genuine commitment to a charity that changes lives every single day. This felt like the natural next step in a journey that has been building for years. I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember. Giving back to dogs who haven’t had the best start in life has always mattered to me, but over the last five years in particular, my role as Managing Director and Co-Founder of The Animal People Recruitment Company has given me a much bigger platform to make a difference.
